The roses are from drawings and photos I have of a climbing “Joseph’s coat” bush - named, of course, after Joseph and his coat of many colors. 
 
These colorful, climbing rose bush is sometimes planted at the edge of vineyard rows to measure the health of the grape vines. 
The painting is done on my favorite Belgium fine linen, clear primed. 
8" x 10" x 1-1/2" thick. Unframed.
